Abstract
The purpose of the research is to determine education supervisors’ communication skillsaccording to teachers’ views at secondary schools. This survey model research is a quantitativestudy. The sample of the research consists of 240 teachers selected from five distinct educationareas in the city center of Van by using the stratified random sampling strategy. The criterionof selecting teachers who attended the research was to have been supervised at least once. The data of the research were collected by asking teachers for their views via “Supervisors’Communication Skills Scale” developed by Özgözgü (2008a). The research results show thatthere is no statistical difference among teachers’ views of supervisors’ communication skillsregarding sex, graduation and field of study. However, as seniority and times of the beingsupervised increases, teachers’ perceptions on supervisors’ communication skills decrease.
