Abstract
Abstract: Nonce word is lexicalized when word, appropriate to the context of that moment, is not available in mental lexicon within mutual speech situation or written language, if available, when it cannot be called out of lexicon because of various psychological reasons such as failing to remember and being tired in consequence of aesthetic concerns. If birth of word is recorded within the process of nonce formation whether it will live or not can be observed. In case language speakers start adopting nonce word it is called as neologism and it will be a candidate for lexicon of standard language within the process of lexicalization. In this study, formation processes of nonce words compiled from spoken or written language situations have been tried to be classified by being described in morphological, semantic and pragmatic levels. In the same time, these kinds of descriptions will show which principles and parameters are important in daily words and terms that will be formed by presenting ways of lexicalization of Turkish such like actual word. In this parallel, ways of lexicalization of words that language speakers adopt intuitively will also be understood.
