Pantun Sebagai Perakam Norma: Penelitian Awal Terhadap Perkahwinan dan Keluarga Melayu

This paper is a documentation of how pantun has functioned in the Malay society. The focuses are on the usage of pantuns in marriage and family lives. Those pantuns which been analysis are directly collected from the contemporary life. It is proven that the pantuns have been the behavioral reference standard for the Malay. Whether in marriage or family affairs, on one hand, it is the artifacts that documented the values, norms, philosophy as well as the form, structure and content of the Malay society. On the other hand, it sets up the normative bench-mark collectively and individually.
