FROM THE EDITOR: Dear Acta Orthopaedica et Traumatologica Turcica Readers

As we are nearing the end of summer we are pleased to present you with AOTT’s 4th issue of 2011. Subsequent to our staff’s hard work, we plan to increase the number of published articles in future issues. Our journal aims to publish 16-18 articles per issue. By doing so, we will present your precious studies to the scientific community with the least possible time for publishing. In addition, we are also geared up to publish articles ahead of print. I would like to give you the good news that we are to launch this service by end of 2011.
