Abstract
This study dialed with peroxidase enzyme activity in the patients with breast tumor, and its relation with some trace elements. The results showed presence of a highly significant decrease (P 0.001) peroxidase activity in patients with benign and malignant breast tumor in comparison to that of control group. Trace elements: iron, cadmium and nickel concentrations were also measured in sera of patients with breast tumor and compared with that of healthy women and the result showed that a highly significant decrease (P 0.001) in iron concentration was observed in sera samples of patients with breast tumor in comparison to that of healthy women, while an increase in the level of cadmium and nickel was observed in patients with benign breast tumor and the same result found in nickel concentration in the malignant group in comparison with that of normal group.
