Abstract
Let R be an associative ring with identity and let M be a unital left R- module. E. Akalan, G. Birkenmeier and A. Tercan introduced the following concept. An Rmodule M is called a 𝒢-extending module if for each submodule X of M , there exists a direct summand D of M such that X D is essential in both X and D. The main purpose of this work is to develop the 𝒢-extending modules
