On the Journal Published by the Neyyir-i Hakikat Newspaper on the First Anniversary of the Revolution Dated July 10

Manastır, the city where the Second Constitutional Monarchy was declared, is the most important center of the Union and Progress Committee besides Thessalonica. Starting to be published in 1908 as the official organ of the Committee, Neyyir-i Hakikat published a journal on the first anniversary of the Second Constitutional Monarchy and issued various articles in this journal. In the present study, this journal will be studied for the first time. This journal is of great importance in that it reveals the ideas, demands and approaches of the Union and Progress to different subjects in 1909. The journal includes diverse subjects and writers such as leading men of letters of that period, articles about army, military and the Macedonia issue and poems. The common characteristics of articles and poems are that they praise the Constitutional Monarchy, the Committee of Union and Progress and the army. Reviews of European civilization and Macedonia issue stand out as important articles in the journal.
