Music Education Division Students’ Opinions On Farabi Exchange Programme

The purpose of this discriptional study is to investigate the process of Farabi Exchange Programme on the students ,who had enrolled to the Gazi University, Faculty of Education, Division of Music Education from other universities, via their point of view. Therefore, semi-structured interview form had been used to collect data. After a qualitative content analysis it is emerged that the Farabi students who are guided by professors, families and friends apply to exchange programme because of the desire to receive education from a prestigous university and its restricted educational conditions. It is also emerged that the students faced adaptation challenges during course selection and in more advanced music classes.
