  • Abstract
The teachings of religion in the field of economics draw the attention of researchers in recent times. Numerous studies on the contribution of Islam to this area in particular have been published. Today, a science with the name of “Islamic Economics” appears. But reached point indicates an understanding of economics rather than an economic system. The most important basis of this understanding of economics is the Quran. The Quran provides intellectual base to the economic field, brings principles for ordering and legitimating, and offers examples related directly to application. We’ll discuss the first one of them in this article. Thus, we aim to explore the reference field that forms the intellectual basis for economic choice, decision, purpose and activities.
