Tahmises Written on Nevâyî s Poems by Azerbaijanian Poet Kishverî

Nimetullah Kishverî as a poet is one of the prominent representatives of the Azerbaijani poetry of the XVth-XVIth centuries. He played an important role in the formation of the literary language.His tahmises to Ali Shir Nevâyî s five poems together with the influence of the Eastern Turkish are important to give an idea about the general tendency in the use of language in Turkish Literature of Azerbaijani area of those centuries. The purpose of this article is to give the transcriptions and the texts of the tahmises he wrote to Ali Shir Nevâyî s five poems.
