Nâbî’s a Humorous Letter Commentary

One of the important sources in the Turkish classical humorous tradition, which was numerous persons, who have various title and skills, gave some products in the large scales, is letters. A commentary, which is written by Nâbî in reply to Silahdâr İbrâhim Pasha’s letter, was sent per procurationem a person, named Mahmud, is a important example not only text commentary but also for commentary of feeling and thinking in Turkish Literature.In this study, was given some informations about Nâbî’s humorous commentary letter and its place in the text commentary tradition. And Also was given it’s content, parlance and wording. At the end of the study was included in the annotated critical text.
