Abstract
In this paper, we have proposed a model for decision support systems (DSS) based on rough sets. This allowed us to improve the quality of decision rule and level of consistency in data. The purpose of our model is to enhance learning, improve performance and make certain decisions, therefore, we employ rule induction algorithm based on rough set as a tool for knowledge discovery on DSS. Our experimental results indicate that constructing DSS based on rough set improve the quality of decision rules which extracting from data. It also, improves the classification accuracy computed by classifiers.
