Economy Policies and Results Implemented in Democrat Party Era

1950-1960 is one of the outstanding eras among the economy policies since the foundation of the Republic. This period witnessed transition efforts from an interventionist economic structure to an open economy that prioritizes private sector. The purpose of this study is to analyse the economy policies during the Democrat Party rule that came to power between 1950 and 1960. The reason to focus on this period is to present the outcomes of the transition from interventionist policies to liberal policies in economic sphere as well as transition to multi-party regime in political sphere after 1946.
