Fungsi Tumbuhan Cekur (Kaempferia Galanga L.) dan Setawar (Costus Speciosus) dalam Kehidupan Tradisional Suku Dayak Desa

Dayak Desa is a clan living in Borneo. In this community, the use of plants is embedded in their traditional life and culture. This article examines cekur and setawar which play important roles in the culture of Dayak Desa. Cekur is used by Dayak Desa in medication and exorcising ghosts. This plant is also cited in oral literature that becomes the basis of beliefs in its use. On the other hand, setawar is used in house construction, the making and moving of kitchen and also used in dry farming tradition.
