Law and Order Situation in Sindh and ItsImpacts on Politics:1988-1999: An Assessment

It provides the history of law and order situation in Sindh in thetenures of four consecutive elected civilian governments from 1988-1999. The different approaches vis a vis; political, military andjudicial had been put into action by the civilian governments to attendto the issues of lawlessness and appalling law and order situation inSindh. The effects of policies and operations on Centre-Sindhrelations, Centre-military relations and Sindh-military were dreadful.The disagreements among political parties on operations had furtherdeteriorated the situation and stability of the political system.
