Abstract
Lacquering of objects develops in two ways in Russia: Lacquer miniature works and lacquer metal trays. Fedoskino, Palekh, Mstera and Kholui regions paint minauture on objects such as boxes, brooches, cigarette cases made of papier-mâché, Nizhny Tagil and Zhostovo regions paint still life and figurative paintings on lacquer metal trays. In this work, the historical development of lacquered objects produced in Fedoskino, Palekh, Mstera, Kholui, Nizhny Tagil and Zhostovo, the artistic peculiarities of the regions and subjects they paint on objects have been evaluated. .
