Facial Reconstruction with Manchester Method

In this study, facial reconstruction and Manchester method applied in this field of study were described. After presenting the literature review of facial reconstruction based on the domain of Forensic Anthropology, a practical facial reconstruction study was presented with its all phases. This practical study was applied on the skull which was sent to our laboratory for identification. Before the facial reconstruction phase, age, sex and ancestry of the individual was estimated from the skull and the skull was duplicated. Facial reconstruction was completed by application of the regression equations and placement of facial muscles which facial tissue depths were also used as reference.
