Miocene Fossil Rhinocerotidae of Turkey

Numerous scientific studies have been achieved on Rhinocerotidae which is one of the richest elements of Miocene mammalian faunas of Turkey. However, it was later understood that some faunas which had still problematic systematics on this group exists in scientific studies. Within this study, a broad literature study on Rhinocerotidae fossils that took part in one of the 43 Miocene localities of Turkey were achieved and systematics of published materials were revised in the light of latest literatures. Besides whole these literature works, Rhinocerotidae fossil mate-rials collected during 1990-2014. Bursa-Paşalar were studied taxonomy in this study to Paşalar Excavation were described first time in this study
