Recent advances in the management of hypertension

Hypertension is a worldwide prevalent disease that leads to considerable morbidity and mortality. While its underlying basis of genetics and pathology as well as its complications are universally agreed upon, management of hypertension remains to be controversial. In this article, we will present clear evidence of the recent advances in the management of hypertension that include newer therapeutic agents replacing old strategies.
