Abstract
A series of 56 bis(phenoxyimine) metal (II) complexes was prepared and used as catalyst precursors for dimerization reactions of propene. The complexes were activated with methylaluminoxane (MAO) or other aluminum compounds like aluminum alkyls or aluminum halides in the presence of different phosphines. The influence of the ligand frameworks, the phosphine additives and the co-catalysts was studied.
