Abstract
In this research, performance of pumpkin seed threshing machine manufacturing in which Konya Province was investigated. After first year experiments, structural changes on the machine have done, and experiments repeated in the second year. Threshing drum and distances of peg concave clearances designed again, and three times brushes on the clearing sieves placed instead of three palettes in the second year. The experiments conducted on peripheral speeds of drum as 3.50 m/s, 4.40 m/s and 5.30 m/s and replicated three times. According to obtaining data, when peripheral speeds of drum was selected as 5.30 m/s, total threshing lost, kernel purity rate, processing capacity of pumpkin and seed determined as %0.072, %98.8, 12239 kg-pumpkin/h and 446 kg-seed/h, respectively.
