Turkey s Exports of Agricultural Products Export Function and Effects of Exchange Rate Uncertainty

Turkey s total exports in 2009, the export of agricultural products 10.70% percent and 10 937 million dollars. Influence factors, which is the export of agricultural products has similar properties created export of industrial products, also contribute to the agriculture industry as an export model. In this study, especially the exports important impact of fluctuations in exchange rates was examined. Johansen co-integration method to the model, the real foreign income, relative prices and real exchange rate fluctuations negatively affected exports of basic agricultural products is discovered. Impulse Responses analysis of the impact on the result of exchange rate fluctuations; exporters of agricultural products in Turkey have a structure, proved to be afraid of risk. Depending on the outcome of the real exchange rate in the export of agricultural products can be used as an effective political tool and used.
