Heart failure is a complex clinical syndromethat can result from any structural or functionalcardiac disorder. Heart failure (HF) is a majorand growing public health problem in the wholeworld, in part because of increasing numbers ofpatients with HF due to better treatment and sal-vage of patients with acute myocardial infarctionearlier in life. Also heart failure is a major clinicalsyndrome that can cause increasing cardiovas-cular mortality and morbidity. The number of HFdeaths has increased steadily despite advancesin treatment. This article includes follow-up of thepoliclinic patients with heart failure and treatmentof them.
