Arabic For Islamic Science: An Adaptation of the Teaching Method of Al-Miran ‘Ala Al-Qawalib For Beginner Students of Pusat Permata Insan

The purpose of this study was to give exposure on teaching method of Arabic For Islamic Science among the primary pupils of Center of Permata Insan. Arabic For Islamic Science is a part of Arabic For Specific Purposes. There are many teaching methods which can be applied to them such as Tariqah Al-Miran ‘Ala Al-Qawalib that the Arabic vocabularies are taught repeatly. The results shown that Arabic For Islamic Science texts can be derived from primary sources such as Quran and Sunnah and secondary sources such as dua’ and hand-made texts. Hopefully the results of this study may affect the practical implication of teaching and learning Arabic For Islamic Science at USIM in specific.
