Abstract
Various scientific events were organized in the world and Turkey for the 100th anniversary of Florence Nightingale who effected development of nursing in Turkey. This event, which was organised by four institutions in Turkey, started in Selimiye Barracks, and continued in Marmara University Faculty of Medicine Historical Conference Hall (Ord.
