Abstract
The reaction of activated acetylenic compounds with trialkyl(aryl) phosphites in the presence of aniline and diethyl
oxalate leads to stable phosphonate derivatives in excellent yields. The reaction workup is easy and the products can be easily
separated from the reaction mixture.
