Abstract
Cultural structures, traditions and discrimination are importantfactors affecting the participation offemales in the labor market. These factors also affect female wages and lead to a wage discrimination against females. In this study, the effects of endowment and discrimination against female workers on hourly average wage rates are analyzed during the year 2009. In some regions, hourly average wage difference is against female workers while it is against male workers in the others. Blinder-Oaxaca decomposition method is used in order to identify the average extent of discrimination on hourly average wages. Results of this decomposition method show that female workers are faced with wage discrimination.
