CONSIDERATIONS ON OWNERSHIP AND POSSESSION

Ownership, which is affected by the societies’ economical and social structure and relative and open to change from this aspect, has begun to be addressed in a different way in many law systems primarily in the European Union. The new ownership concept is considered in a broad manner so as to cover almost all things, which have an economic value, and the liberalisation of the powers within this scope of the ownership from the ownership right and the allocation of these powers, especially power of possession is deemed usual.In this study, the new ownership concept, which is considered in a very broad manner when compared with the meaning and the coverage of the ownership right in ouır law, has been reviewed.
