Abstract
Let A be a Banach algebra with unity 1, and theta; : A rarr; A be an continuous automorphism. In this paper we characterizea continuous linear map T : A rarr; A which satisfies one of the following conditions:a, b isin; A, ab = w = rArr; theta;(a)T(b) = T(w),a, b isin; A, ab = w = rArr; T(a) theta;(b) = T(w),or a, b isin; A, ab = w = rArr; theta;(a)T(b) = T(a) theta;(b) = T(w) , where w ne; 0 is a left (right) separating point of A.
