Abstract
Let A and B be two unital prime complex ∗-algebras such that A has a nontrivial projection. In this paper, we study the structure of a bijective map : A → B preserving the sum of triple products α1abc+α2a∗cb+α3ba∗c+α4cab+α5bca +α6cba∗, for all elements a, b, c ∈ A, where the scalars {αk }6k=1 are complex numbers satisfying some conditions. Applications of obtained results are presented.
