Abstract
Polyamine-functionalized mesoporous MCM-41 and SBA-15 were synthesized by the substitution of surface chloroalkyl group by linear polyamines. The structure of the functional group was determined by elemental analysis, 29Si and 13C MAS NMR, and IR spectroscopy to explore the effects of chain length and pore size on aqueous ion adsorption capability.
