SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC INVESTIGATION OF EIGHT GALAXIES WITH A UV EXCESS

The results of a spectroscopic and morphological investigation of galaxies with a UV excess Nos. 27, 28, 93, 101. 109, 164, 204, and 217 from the lists of [M. A. Ka/arian, 15. 5, 193 (1979)] are given. The equivalent widths, relative intensities, and half-widths of lines are detennined. The masses of galaxies Nos. 28. 93, 101, 164, 204, and 217 are also determined.
