Excitation of Nuclear Isomeric States in Photoneutron Reactions in the Giant E1 Resonance Region

Experimental data on nuclear isomeric-state excitation cross sections and isomeric ratios in (gamma, n) reactions in the giant dipole resonance energy region are summarized for a wide range of nuclei with A= 45197. The experimental isomeric ratios are compared with the calculated values and with the results from the reactions (n. 2n), (p, n), etc.
