Abstract
The development of the polarized target technique over the last years is reviewed: the main features of nuclear polarization by the dynamic cooling method, the polarization measurement of nuclei with spins I = 1/2 and I = 1, the nuclear magnetic superradiation, and the effect of frequency modulating microwave considerably enhancing nuclear polarization. New prospects for designing thin targets and their possible application for polarization of radioactive nuclei are discussed.
