Abstract
The configuration integral of a classical statistical physics is first written in a factorized form and then exactly evaluated for some almost arbitrary molecular interaction potential. The repulsive Fourier components (modes) of the potential give rise to the first-order phase transitions (PT), hierarchized according to their strengths. The attractive modes are responsible for the second-order PT. The Landau expansion, critical indices, Zernike-Ornstein correlation along with the correlation radius are all obtained and expressed through the characteristics of the potential.
