  • Abstract
    Transformer inrush currents wcrc traditionally evaluatcd by means of Fouricr analysis. Such approach arfects the design of transformer differential rclays canccrning thcir immunity to inrush currents. This piper presenls a wavelel-based method, which seems to providc a reliablc and compulationally eCCicicnt tool Air distinguishing bclwecn inlcrnal faults and inrush currents.
