Dead-earthing influence on track-circuit shunt sensitivity

A two-port-network model of a deadearthed track circuit working in shunt mode is developed. The two-port-network coefficients are determined as a function of the rail-line parameters. A method for computation of the shunt sensitivity at every point along the length of the dead-earthed track circuit is proposed. Some generalisations and conclusions have been drawn on the basis of the computation results.
