Error analysis of wall heat flow using transfer coefficients

Transfer coefficients (TCs) provide a fast method of evaluating heat flows in a wall but the results are not exact in general. Some simple wall models are proposed for which exact solutions are known and TC estimates of temperature and heat flows due to ramp and sinusoidal driving temperatures and a constant imposed flux are compared with their exact values, demonstrating good agreement.
