  • Abstract
    Lʹacide 5-cafeoylshikimique (acide dactylifrique) et ses isomeres de position, identifies dans ies racines de palmier dattier (Fhoenix dactylifera L.), inhibenf la germination des conidies et la croissance mycelienne de Fu.sarium oxysporum f sp. aibedinis. Les teneurs accumulees chez les varietes resistantes sont fongitoxiques alors que celles accumulees chez les varietes sensibles ne semblent pas alTecter la croissance et le developpement du parasite. Ceci montre bien Iʹimplication des acides cafeoylshikimiques dans la resistance du palmier dattier a cette fusariose. Ces resultafs seronf par ailleurs dʹune grande utilite notamment dans le criblage rapide des genotypes resistants lssus de croisements diriges ou de culture in vitro. Abstraet 5-caffeoylshikimic acid and its isomeres of position (dactylifric acid) found in the roots of date-palms {Fhoenix dactylifera L.) inhibit the germination of conidia and the growth of the mycelium of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. albedinis. The acid content accumulated in resistant cultivars are toxic to fungi, whereas that accumulated in sensitive cultivars does not seem to affect growth and development of the parasite. This well demonstrates the implication of caffeoylshikimic acid in the resistance of the date-palm to this yi^^ariʹwm disease. Moreover, these results will be of great use, especially for screening resistant genotypes obtained from directed crossings or from in vitro cultures.
