Abstract
This study examines the effect of college education on the probability of living in large metropolitan areas. Particular attention is given to the possibly endogenous relationship between education and household location. It is shown that college education has a large positive effect on living in the largest metropolitan areas in the United States and no effect on the probability in living in smaller metropolitan areas.
