SENSITIVITY ANALYSIS OF PRODUCTIVITY IN SELECTED IRANIAN INDUSTRIES*

Productivity forecasting and planning can be achieved using the analysis of productivity components. One method of analysis for the purpose of prediction and planning is sensitivity analysis, A sensitivity analysis is used when the values of the component variables of the productivity model are not accurately known. In this case one can compute the results for a range of possible values and determine the sensitivity of the results to reasonable variations in these values. In this paper we discuss this method and show how it is used in a selected number of industries for decisions related to productivity.
