Abstract
Investigations on the equilibrium chemistry of Cu" and Zn"-2-pyridinccarboxaldchydc (A)-L-valinc, L-phenylalaninc and DL-tryptophanc (B) systems show that in the M(AB), M(AB)A and M(AB)2 type of complexes, the Schiff basc(AB) binds in a ferdentate manner.
