Abstract
study of the effects played by tangential ede constraints on the vibrational behavior of
single/multilayered doubly-curved shallqw pan@ subjected to complex thezmomechanical loading
systems acting in the pre/postbuckling regirhrls is presented. In addition, effects related to the
transverse shear and initial geometric imperfe$ons are incorporated and their influence is highlighted.
Numerical ilhtsttations based on a high*-order theory undet%ne.the strong influence played
by the above mentioned &e&s, in general, and by tangent&edge matrams on the alleviation of the
