Abstract
The aim of the present study was to investigate the association between scores on the Cognitive Triad Inventory for Children and symptoms of depression and anxiety. Respondents were 218 adolescents (98 male and 120 female) ranging in age from 13 to 16 years. It was found that scores on the Cognitive Triad Inventory accounted for 39% and 29% of the variance, respectively, on the measures of depression and anxiety in boys and 50% and 20% of the variance, respectively, on the measures of depression and anxiety in girls.
