Abstract
We report here the first case of baroreflex failure due to a mixed cranial nerve neuroma in which the clinical manifestations (recurrent severe hypertensive crisis, hypotension) due to baroreflex arc impairment preceded the clinical diagnosis of brain tumour and neurosurgery by a few months. Given the clinical suspicion of baroreflex failure, even in the absence of iatrogenic clues, we propose that the patientʹs study should include neuroradiologic evaluation of the ponto-cerebellar angulus.
