Diffusion coefficients of 90Sr and 137Cs in Syrian rocks and the dependence on PH

The diffusion coefficients of 90Sr and 137Cs have been calculated from experimental data for different local rocks. The dependence of the diffusion coefficient in some rocks on the pH of the fluid under stationary or circulating conditions for the radioisotope solution has been calculated. Our results show that cement is the best material for radioisotope retention.
