Primary chemotherapy and conservative surgery for vaginal yolk-sac tumour Original Research Article

Vaginal yolk-sac tumours are usually incurable unless radical surgery is done. We have shown, however, that, neoadjuvant cisplatin-based chemotherapy with conservative surgery is effective in the management of these tumours, and results in a good survival rate, unlike germ-cell tumours of other origin.
