Purpoe To report the repone of acute Behçet retiniti to high-doe corticoteroid. Method Cae report. A 58-year-old man with Behçet dieae and evere bilateral glaucoma experienced a udden decreae of viual acuity to counting finger in hi (better-eeing) left eye. Examination dicloed hypopyon uveiti and an infiltrative retiniti threatening the fovea. He received intravenou methylpredniolone hemiuccinate, 1 gram per hour on each of 3 ucceive day, followed by oral prednione and cycloporine. Reult The retinal infiltrate diappeared within 24 hour. Viual acuity improved to LE, 20/400 by day 5 and returned to LE, 20/30 after 3 month. A viual field demontrated a cotoma correponding to the location of the previou retiniti. Concluion High-doe intravenou methylpredniolone can revere evere viion lo in acute Behçet retiniti.
