Rifabutin-aociated uveiti in an immunouppreed pediatric patient without acquired immunodeficiency yndrome

Purpoe: To decribe a cae of bilateral, ymptomatic rifabutin-aociated uveiti with hypopyon and vitreal opacitie in an immunouppreed pediatric patient without acquired immunodeficiency yndrome (AID). Method: Cae report. An 8-year-old boy preented with bilateral uveiti 24 month after a bilateral lung tranplant. Reult: Our patient, whoe medication included rifabutin, clarithromycin, and immunouppreive agent, reponded to dicontinuation of the rifabutin and initiation of intenive topical corticoteroid therapy with complete reolution of the uveiti. Concluion: Rifabutin-aociated uveiti may occur in a non-AID pediatric patient.
