Pneumo-orbital cyt after orbital fracture repair

Purpoe: To report a cae of a repiratory epithelial-lined, air-filled orbital cyt a a late complication of orbital fracture repair. Method: Cae report. Reult: Recurrent epiode of diplopia and hyperophthalmia developed econdary to pneumatic inflation of a repiratory epithelial-lined orbital cyt 6 month after orbital fracture repair. Thi cyt remained in communication with an ethmoidal air cell and became inflated during preurization of the ethmoid inu. Removal of the cyt and orbital implant wa curative. Concluion: Air-filled, repiratory epithelial-lined orbital cyt i a rare caue of epiodic diplopia and globe diplacement after orbital trauma.
